Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how we process information on our website (appslab.agency) and in our software products and services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Data we process

1.1 Information you provide

  • Contact details and content you send us (e.g., name, business email, company, message text) when you fill out forms or communicate with us.
  • Account credentials and profile information if you create an account in our Services.

1.2 Service data (non‑personal)

  • Telemetry and diagnostics generated by the Services (e.g., feature usage counters, performance metrics, crash and error codes), stored in a manner that does not identify a natural person.
  • System logs produced by our infrastructure that are de‑identified and do not contain personal data. We retain these to operate, secure, and improve the Services (see Section 5).

1.3 What we do not retain

  • IP addresses and other network identifiers are processed transitively for connectivity and security but are not stored in persistent logs by Apps Lab.
  • We do not retain precise location, device contacts, calendars, photos, or other content unless you explicitly upload or provide them to us (e.g., as part of support).
If you submit any personal information within free‑text fields, we will handle it as Personal Data under this Policy.

2. Purposes of processing

We process information to:

  1. provide, operate, and secure the Services;
  2. respond to requests and provide support;
  3. measure and improve performance and quality;
  4. comply with law and enforce terms.

We do not sell or share personal data for cross‑context behavioral advertising.

3. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where required (e.g., in the EEA/UK), we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Services), legitimate interests (e.g., security, product improvement), consent (where required for analytics cookies or marketing), and legal obligations.

4. Disclosures

We disclose information to:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, infrastructure, email delivery, diagnostics/analytics configured without personal data), bound by confidentiality and data‑processing terms;
  • Authorities and other parties where required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property; and
  • Corporate transactions, if we undergo a reorganization, merger, or sale.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention

  • Personal Data: deleted within 30 days after you delete your account; deleted within 12 months of inactivity; and deleted within 7 days after we verify an erasure request, unless we are legally required to retain it (in which case we restrict use to compliance only).
  • Service Data (de‑identified logs/usage data): retained without a fixed end date for reliability, security, and product improvement. This data does not identify individuals and cannot reasonably be used to do so.

Backups are rotated on a schedule that ensures Personal Data is purged within the same timeframes once the backup cycle completes.

6. International transfers

We may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) or other lawful mechanisms for cross‑border transfers.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and obtain a portable copy. You may also withdraw consent where applicable.

California/CPRA

We do not sell or share personal information. You may request access or deletion by emailing privacy@appslab.agency.

EEA/UK

You may contact us at privacy@appslab.agency to exercise rights or lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

8. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls, and segregation of production environments. No method is 100% secure.

9. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is posted here with the date above. Material changes will be communicated on the website or by email where appropriate.
